[RULES] Nations + Towns.
NATIONS:

Nations do not have to be bought. (Price undecided)
Nations must have 20+ members, 30 being the maximum.
Nations must have an army if you are not peaceful.
Nation leader sets national tax (Example: Nation leader sets tax to 5% all income of the nation, so town X's mayor has to already set 5% tax rate, + the tax he wants to tax everyone let's say he wants 5% too; the total tax to a citizen is 10%)

-Anyone joining a nation, cannot be in another town outside the nation or a town in another nation. This will make you nomadic. (One without a nation)-

Towns:
Towns must be bought. (If the town is inside a nation the nation's tax pays for it.)
Towns must not have buildings over a certain height... this defeats some RP elements we are trying to put into place... no buildings that are 50 blocks tall please. (These are an eyesore and very unrealistic)
Towns cannot be formed outside of a nations wall if they plan on being in a nation (If not you can build in the wild)
Town's may break off of the nation if they decide to make a nation but do remember once you do this you will be teleported off Nation X's land.
Minimum of 5 players to create a "Village"... start small and build up do not make a town that is 100x100 and then only have 6 residents. (Unless you want your town to suddenly go... POOOF!)

Players:
Players cannot be in 2 nations at the same time.
Players cannot leave a nation unless it is requested do to a "Dispute"
Players cannot be in 2 towns at once.
Players can leave a town (if in a nation you must join another town inside the nation)

Hope this clears some stuff up.

Actually, it does. Thanks.

Oh, and does the national leader need to have donated/have premium status? I'm not against paying, but my parents, as protective as they are, already frown upon me having an e-mail account, let allone even thinking about having a paypall account in order to donate to a server that will 'ammount to nothing in your future'.

Parents are parents, and actually I've brought up to yottabyte a work around for the people whom have these sort of problems. Maybe we will see this in 2.0 :]

Anyways the leader does not need to be donor, but there must be 1 in your nation.

Lets say your father drinks beer with friends for the fun of it. Bet he's paying more for beer than you're donating to the server. And buying beer amounts to even less in your future.

Not letting you donate to a server is merely hypocritical.

My dad hasn't had a drink of alcohol since he was in the army over 20 years ago, thank you very much. And that wine was a gift, from what I understand. My mother also does not drink. No offence, but my family is a very, very traditional-ish 1970's - 1980's Christian family (you know, hold the door open for girls, wear button-up collored shirts to chirch, listen to ACDC, Bon Jovi, and anything else made after 1969 and before 1990, go to church 3 times a week, never swear, all that good stuff).

I did not mean to critisize you or your parents, just trying to give you some good arguments for use in a discussion. Anyways, if that does not work you could try to sit down and hold your breath untill they let you use paypal Awesome smiley

This completely hinders what I'm doing, I was planning to have an extra house in cerce's nation, but that would make me nomadic being in Helvanthar...
