Ban appeal
Hello. I was recently banned for "Enchantment Table Grief" by Tristo. When I read the rules, I did not realize the rule 5.4 was for Decoration only. I also was banned without any warning what so ever. It is clearly stated in the rules that you should get a kick or a warning for breaking a rule THEN a temp ban, but for some reason I was immediately given a temp ban for 3 days. I am willing to give the enchanting table back.

RE: Ban appeal
Sorry, but you don't get a kick or a warning when you've done something like this. We can't just hand out kicks to people who grief. Please read the rules more carefully.
Love,
Gecko

RE: Ban appeal
I feel like taking ONE block and getting banned for 3 days is a severe of a punishment, when I am OFFERING said block back! I can have a friend of mine give the enchantment table to a moderator if it reduces or eliminates my ban.
It says in the rules "In general, unless otherwise stated, a three strike system is applied to the handling of most rule violations." It says NO where in the 2.x or the 5.4 rules that I will receive an immediate ban without even a kick warning, opposing the 3 strike rule.

RE: Ban appeal
Don't assume that that particular clause will apply to your situation. Better safe than sorry. Besides, that one block is worth a great deal, and there have been many cases of people being banned for the stealing of enchantment tables.

RE: Ban appeal
Ban time reduced to 24 hours. Remember to place it back where you found it!

RE: Ban appeal
I think the ban can be reduced to 1 day if he agrees to return the item.
Your ban has been reduced, and when you log back in today, find a mod, most likely me, and we'll clear the case.
