Death by /inn
I did the /inn command and it made me suffocate in a wall. OriginalRage
Yotta, can you please fix this, several other people have also had this problem according to Mystia. Also it it at all possible to roll back my inventory similar to rolling back the land (namely to 12:15 AM PST, 9:15 Swedish time)? I lost a nearly full set of diamond armor as well as many other miscellaneous items that I don't want to loose because I used a command that turned out to be broken.

Sucks. Dont cry about it. Stuff happens.

I'm sure Yotta will look into it as soon as he can. From my understanding there are never inventory refunds due to possible duping (did you die RIGHT at 12:15? The issue is if thats when it got rolled back (which I'm pretty sure you can't even roll back ones inventory) to that time, and if it was actually 5, 10, 20 minutes after that time, you could have had time to place say a stack of diamonds in a chest, when he rolls it back, you have it in a chest, and inside your inventory). I personally have had an issue with /home that resulted in the loss of a few stacks of gold and such, and no, it was never returned.

Shit happens.

RE: Death by /inn
I can't fix it, it's a problem with Minecraft because it emulates physics before the chunk has been loaded which means you fall for a second and when the chunk loads you will be put inside a block. There's really nothing we can do about that.

As for the inventory refunds, there's no way we can know exactly what you were carrying at the point of death and unless you can prove it, I'm afraid a rollback is impossible.

I miss the old times when you could make the excuse "The game is still in alpha/beta! Expect bugs!" but Minecraft remains a glitchy game long after release. Sorry.

There is something that might work if you get stuck after teleporting, just log out and log back in, and you should appear above the block you were suffocating in. This is a form of block glitching but I'm sure it doesn't hurt anyone if used this way.
