I Broke Myself

So the other day I was out playing Dagorhir, and I jumped over an arrow that was fired at my leg. Seems legit. The problem is, when I landed, my foot and lower leg (including the lower part of my knee) stayed straight, while the upper part of my body (everything from the upper knee up) turned and my knee popped audibly before giving out. This has happened to me before (if you know me irl, then you know how tall I am) while I was playing basketball. The cheap doctors in Hawai'i told me to wait until I moved to the mainland to get it scanned to know exactly what was torn. Anyways, I forgot, and now its swelled up to 4x the size of my left knee. I went to the hospital today to get it looked at, and now they're telling me that I "have a broken knee". They didn't say which part, or any other useful information. Have any of you out there broken your knee? And if so, how long will it be until Im 100% again?

A normal broken bone can take a few weeks to heal, depending on the bone of course.

I can tell you that if it truely is broken, you will have most likely have a cast from your ankle to your hip region. Simply because you can't bend it at all. As for the amount of time to heal, no idea...

(All of this is based on common knowledge, I actually have no idea what the hell i'm saying. Just that you might have a cast like that. :3)

Ok, thanks guys. A few weeks should be manageable. Although it was perfect timing so that now I'll miss tryouts. :sigh: And I CAN bend it a slight bit, so although the doctor hasnt told me the extent of the break, Im going to assume its a mere fracture of my kneecap. Hopefully I wont have to wear a full leg cast, but I wont know for sure until after my ortho-whateverbonedoctor appointment this Wednesday.

LOL more like an excuse to sit on the couch. I hath given my poor sad laptop back to my grandfather. Ive been saving up, and Im going to order parts for my gaming rig tommorow. Im allowed to build it, just not turn it on and install the OS

Wait, what?! The OS is the easy part and has by far the least amount of problems if you mess up.

What parts are you getting? I want to make sure you are not wasting any money.

It's a game that is like rp in real life... You fight battles with bows swords spears, etc.

He must have jumped to avoid bein injured.
