Arena Plugin Idea

Hey folks'

Just come up with a new idea for a plugin and would like to know your opinions

ARENA PLUGIN
Arena plugin would allow two players to enter an arena for a fee. (e.g Each player pays 3 Emerald) This would be the winning players victory money when they win. So victor of the match would gain 6 Emeralds. Additionally, an option could be added for players to watch the match. They would pay a fee of 1 emerald and that money would be added to the victors spoils when the match finishes. betting would be an additional charge on top of this for the spectators and would be handled by either a NPC or a command.

The Numbers in this are just examples.

Sounds neat. Some questions though.

The arena - is it a different dimension, player built or in the normal world but in a protected area (built by whom)?
What are these commands and whatever? Would you just be teleported into the arena magically or something.
Would this be a timed event or just something that people could do at any time?
