The detective walked down the stairs into the dark clammy basement with an air of calm that the young officer had never seen before following a triple rape-homicide. When he reached the bottom, he slowly pushed his sunglasses to the top of his forehead and surveyed the crime scene, a cigar somehow finding itself lit and in his mouth.

"Who did this?" He asked. It wasn't a question, well, actually it was. It had a question mark.

The young officer took a few steps foreward, bringing him out of the shadows.

"You know, that cigar will ruin your night vision." He said in way of a reply.

The detective gave him a cold stare, punctuated by the removal of his second pair of sunglasses.

"Alright, look here rookie. I've been on this force for..." He pauses to breathe, "... a long time. I've solved more crimes than you could ever hope to see in your career. Which won't be long if you keep on making these stupid remarks." He glowered as he pulled out a flashlight and started shining it around the room. "So what have you found so far?"

"Hardly anything," the rookie replied. "I only got here 5 minutes before you."

"Then I guess we'd better start looking for evidence, eh?" The detective pulled off his third pair of sunglasses and removed a camera from his pocket. "Where should we look first?"

A. Check the Cabinet in the corner
B. Move to the unopened door
C. Attempt to kill the detective
