Hello everyone just wanted to see who all would be interested in helping me build a town. not just any town but a town seperate of all nations meaning we would have neutral rights with helventhar, the vikings etc.. i just wanted to see the interest level thanks! (more things like rules will be discussed if enough interest is shown)

The only way I could possible be down with the Town name is if you RPed an Elf, if you did "F-yeah". Other than that out of respect for LoTR and Tolkien I'd ask for a name change. Just my 2 pennies.

Did you denounce your citizenship? In order for you to runa neutral town/city you could not be a citizen of a Nation. Unless that Nation were a true neutral ie Switzerland.

If you don't plan on RP'ing an Elf simple changing Riven or Dale would easy my qualm. Hell, call it RiverDale and stick it on a river.

ok so i'm not counted as a viking any more. and as for the town yes i know it's from lotr but does it matter that it's called rivendale? there's new rapture isn't there?

It was just my personal preference about the town name....There has been nothing stated that says you can't name it New York, If ya wanted to. I just feel that to mix mythologies in an RP setting is not only bad form, but confusing to the future lore of the server.

If we are trying to establish ourselves as a place to RP, we should stick to some "Fantasy Truths". Elves are from Rivendale. It is hard for me to think of anything else and makes it difficult for me to get behind a Non-elf Rivendale.

It is not up to me, however. It is just my opinion. If you Rp'ed an all elf town I would encourage you till you were sick of it. I think there is a lot of merit trying to establish that Rivendale.

Examples: Warriors only use Bows. The town be Nature and Tree Heavy.

Like I said....not my call.

yep i understand and it is going to be a cliffside city with a lot of forests but there isn't really much problem in making it a little elf like however is it going to be you have to rp as an elf or i kick you out? no but it will be based on a lot of elven things.
