RE: Towny Over-Protections
I agree Completely. What really bothers me is the Door thing.
You can not open a door because you are not part of this City.
That is almost ridiculous
It takes out almost anything in raiding, and ruins the Rp feature of it.
Someone can protect there chest by just putting a wooden door and closing it.

RE: Towny Over-Protections
I think a limited amount of chests located in the bank (like safety deposits) is the way to go, because the current way (the block on top) doesn't work, people don't care, they just destroy the block and then take the stuff inside. I think the bank should have a chest (or 2) for each person, where they can put valuable stuff.

Another idea is you might be able to build/make a plug-in where there is one chest in the bank, and then depending on who opens it, it has their safety deposit inventory, then when they are done, they close it, but to the next person it will show their inventory not the first persons.

RE: Towny Over-Protections
I didn't change anything when updating to 1.5! However, Towny allows towns to block door/switch usage and block place/break. This can't be disabled by changing settings and would require deeper modding in Towny.
I kinda agree with the door/switch usage, it sucks not being able to use that.

RE: Towny Over-Protections
So, Yotta? Does towny have the lever/switch protection system at the moment, and is it implemented into Kiwike?

It's impossible to even get into towns you are not a member of right now, is this something that the owners of towns can toggle or something a Mod has to do? Legitimate raids are 100% impossible when you cant even open the wooden door outside some town...
Yer that can only be toggled by town mayors.
