Looking for a town!
I'm bored of being a nomad!
I want a town where the community is tight and trust-able. Where you focus on team projects instead of everyone living in random houses.
I don't want a town where just random people can join and build their house and then leave the server the next day, turning the town into a ghost town.
Please do recommend towns here! I like working on big projects etc. Go!

RE: Looking for a town!
Consider Bludwick, or any town within Helvanthar. For one, we one of the larger nations, but of course anyone would be able to realize that any size of a group can work together on one, larger project. I personally like to boast about our Democratic government. The member chosen to be in the House of Commerce will work together on deciding what is best for the nation, whether that be something from war to taxes. The point of the House of Commerce is that it makes the entire nation one giant community project. Apart from that, we are together exploring the continent that we have recently settled on. The name, Bolivar. Our goal right now is to explore the entire place, and map the edges. Among this continent will lie our towns.

RE: Looking for a town!
As droid said, any town in Helvanthar is good. But currently I'm pushing my town, watershroud. We have nice docks, a good housing district, VERY plentiful mines (I've found enough diamond to last about a month), and great scenery.

RE: Looking for a town!
Thanks for all the replies! I've been thinking and this is what I've got
I will visit the frost elves tristo, sounds promising
I don't really like desert(ed) towns, so Bludwick isn't really appealing to me.
New Haven looks awesome but I suck at IC posts and all.
I will check out Watershroud too.

RE: Looking for a town!
Well, I'm building a castle which is going to evolve into a town. You should come check it out - it's right next to New Haven. However, what with being affiliated with NH and all, roleplay is required, so I don't know if you'd like living there if you suck at IC posts.
"One can concentrate so closely on the words of a sentence that one thereby misses the meaning. As can happen in any area of life. You must never lose focus on the larger landscape."

For the record...One can be a part of a Role-playing area with limited Role play. IC post on the forums aren't required. It is just that when talking in Local Chat you don't use Real Life Slang or Emoticons.
You don't have to be super in-depth with a charter just have s small back story.
I.E. Parents were Murdered in a Viking Raid...Roamed the Lands as a Lumberjack.
Town Chat is all OOC.

RE: Looking for a town!
i dont have much time to write this but im going to have to say that New Rapture is the best town for you. having only started Kiwike less than a week ago i already have the structure and top floor of a 30+ story hotel that will be completely underwater (cause were fully underwater) invisible ladders, fast ladders, an elevator and part of a railroad that was team dug. the citizens living in the residents area jyanowitz(me) and dirtysplicer or something like that have are houses connected. im looking for someone to help me build/build. i would buy u ur lot if money is an issue. finally we dont RP. Geckosquid is our mayor.
P.S. check out our giant creeper lighthouse. we are located close enough to tullius to have a medium walk (soon to be elimanated with subway and far enough to not have people getting in the way.
