My unban

I was banned for grieving the subway boosters, but I thought grieving was allowed! I really didn't know I wasn't allowed to grief. I thought that it would be protected if I couldn't. PLease unbar me, I like this server a lot and it was an honest mistake.

Why do you deserve a second chance?: I had NO IDEA I wasn't allowed. I thought it was a hardcore server and anything goes. I honestly think you should be allowed to greif! You make this server up to be some awesome hardcore, who cares server. YEt I get banned for grieving. I'm sorry I had no idea, please unbar me.

I barely got to play on this server and I wish to play on it a lot more. I love the community and everything, I really didn't know. PLease for give me for not reading the rules and doing what I did Sad

As do I. I don't think a permaban is really necessary since he is so new to the server. Still he should have checked out the rules before griefing. The distinction between griefing, which is wrong, and thieving, which is fun, is difficult for new members to grasp. Saying "ooh! I really want a powered rail so I am going to steal it from this poorly hidden chest" is radically different from "ooh! I really wanted a powered rail so I am going to destroy a highly useful mode of transportation that is used by other players and explicitly mentioned in rule #11." Still, I believe second chances are good and velocity probably won't do it again, if he runs back through and returns the rails I think that no lasting harm has come of it.

Honestly, though. In my opinion, if you can't read the rules correctly, why should you even be on?
Your argument makes the subway boosters sound like a "small" crime.
That's a failure on your part. Essentially the first thing you did was grief. I somehow feel like that's a kind of person we don't need on this server.
If you're new to the server, I'd think that you would play more on the safe side anyway.

I agree with Sun, that yes, you are new to the server, but you really must compensate for the rails. On that matter, why would you need those rails so early ingame?

Are you trying to say that there's something wrong with the server? Is there something we're "making up" to make it sound more appealing to you? I assure you, the rules are there. Read them, and read them well next time you decide to do something like that.
