General Background Information

Michael Gaccel, as he was formally known, was part of a guild known as WU, or "Warriors United".

This guild, was unlike any other. It believed in the fact that the art of weapons, mostly the sword and the bow, are dependent on the will of the user, and the reason for it's use.

Michael was one of the few in this "guild", that was undefeated, and that others looked up to. The problem is, he was just one, of many...

Those that where classified like Michael, where looked at to lead the guild, being up to around twenty of them, it allowed room for error.

Well, needless to say, it did not take long before the guild became... corrupt.

Nearly all but about five of those that lead the guild, became obsessed with the money that could be obtained by holding fights within the guild. Not training the younger, newer recruits to fight with will, and belief, but to fight with anger, and hatred.

These five leaders that where left, Michael, Stint, "Lurk", Krease, and Chamber, set out to change the course that the WU was taking, by forming "The Five Cells". They left letters and notes at the homes of the few that still believed in will and reason, hoping to recruit them into the Cells to dispose of the corrupt leaders.

They gathered enough warriors to make a small group of twenty, but that was still nothing compared to what the others had.

None the less, they picked off the corrupt ones, one, by one. By the time they killed four of the corrupt leaders, only three of theirs remained. Michael, Krease, and Chamber. All of their other men where dead. Stint was killed in his sleep, "Lurk" was protecting his love.

It wasn't long before the remaining "Cells" where discovered, and hunted... They attempted to escape, but remained corner in the household they shared so they would not end up like Stint and "Lurk".

It wasn't long after being discovered, that the guild came after them. The set up men in the back, in case Michael, Chamber, or Krease attempted to escape. They began their attack at the front of the house, barging through the main entrance, where the Cells awaited. Chamber in front, Michael and Krease behind. Chamber pushed Michael and Krease down the hallway away from the main entrance, and screamed "GO!". He attempting to hold them off, but he was no match for the other leaders.

Michael and Krease ran for there lives down the hallway, hearing the dying screams of men, and the final one, of their friend.

They reached the dining room, which was fairly large, and had a few windows on the back wall. Michael and Krease broke the window with their weapons, and dove out of them. The other members where startled, but soon recovered, and held their ground. Being surrounded, Krease charge.

Michael saw his chance, and ran through the members, killing three of them as he ran, turning back as he was nearing freedom, to see Krease close behind, wounded and limping. Micheal turned to run back and help him, but an arrow got to him first, and his death was swift and quick.

Micheal's tears where uncontrollable, as Krease and Chamber where his closest friends, but he fled none the less. Pulling up his cloak in attempt for some armor, but it was no match for the arrows that where shot at him.

Micheal reached the wilderness, and the others stopped following him long before. He found a dry spot under a willow, and sat down to rest. This is where he made his last salutes to his dead friends... and decided to keep the name of Cell in honor of them.
