Early life

Ronguor was the son of General Antoxior, the younger brother of King Melchior of the Sunbeards. He grew up in the land of the Sunbeards, the dwarven stronghold of Aeternam. Due to his royal ancestry, and his father's prestige, he grew up in the highest class of Sunbeard society. At the age of fifty, his younger brother, Skuld, was born. Not a day later, Ronguor had volunteered to serve in the Sunbeard's army, as was tradition for all nobility. He quickly grew in rank, and upon his father's death in battle with the Grimbeards of the neighbouring strongholds, was made a General at the right hand of the King. He refused to be called a general, much preferring the title of Lord he was born unto. By the age of one-hundred, his younger brother had joined the army as well. For the next hundred years, Ronguor matured as an general, learning much from his fellow warriors.

Expulsion from Aeternam

At the age of two-hundred, Ronguor retired from military service, passing his position of General to his younger brother, Skuld. Ronguor's youngest brother, Ari, who was younger than him by one-hundred years, had been enlisted in the army for fifty year exactly when King Melchior died. Since Melchior's son, Roectius, was only thirty years old at the time it was decided by the King's advisors that an interim leader should be instated until Roectius was of at least fifty years of age. Gimberlun, one of the King's advisors, was appointed to this position, and the warriors of the nation were sworn to him.

Within twenty years, Gimberlun, outlawed the holding of military leadership by nobility, successfully stealing all influence of the military. Skuld was removed from his position as general, and Ari was barred from holding any official rank, forcing him to abandon his enlistment.

Within another ten years, on the day of Ronguor's two-hundred and thirtieth year, all nobility including the heir to the throne were banished from the land of the Sunbeards. Ronguor and his kin were outraged at this betrayal, and swore revenge. The band of exiled nobility set up a small settlement outside of the range of the Sunbeard patrols, and trained for war. Twenty years flew by, leaving the band bitter and hardened by thoughts of revenge. It was in that year that, without known cause, the Guards of the Sunbeards burned the settlement to the ground in an ambush.

Ronguor, who was fishing at the time, ran back the settlement and woke his brothers before the fire spread to their house. The three brothers set out to fight off the guards, only to see Roectius beheaded in the streets. The brothers, horrified at their cousin's death, fled for their lives. The three ran until sunrise, collapsing after they were sure they could not be followed.

One-hundred years of Wandering

Throughout the next hundred years, Ronguor and his brothers had many great adventures which lead them to the land of Kiwike. Ronguor himself, spent most of his time researching in the libraries of nations they stumbled upon, as well as looking after his brothers. At one point, which was not recorded, the brother split up, only to find themselves yet again banished from another nation for reasons of which are too long to write.

By the end of the hundred years, Ronguor was well travelled, advanced in literature, politics, and alchemy, while his brothers aswell grew through their respective experiences. After being reunited after yet another close run-in with death, the brothers decided to wander further - resulting in their entrance into the land of Kiwike.
