*facepalm*

But yah! No metagame! It r bad! Except the whole "wtf was you're reason for killing" is really annoying, not because I think we don't need a reason, but because the people you kill automatically assume you didn't have a reason.

And those people tend to be the ones like above ^

They tend to cry over their death.

Beware of them.

They will pester you for ever.

*Oncoming wave of desperate cries shall be posted below*

*Or shall they? Troll *

2 day bans for metagaming.. I understand this is an RP server but I have seen people grief and get a ban shorter then 2 days.. In my honest opinion metagaming is not that big of an offence.

Just my two cents

On a good few rp servers you get perma banned for meta and power gaming.

RE: Meta/Power gaming discipline
Everybody metagames at least a little bit. I could give an example of metagaming for almost every single person on this server.. We really just have to try and resolve the issue so it doesn't interfere with the gameplay giving unfair advantages - a mutual understanding that metagaming results in a less than perfect RP experience for all of us (yes, even you) is the only way to fix the problem.

There isn't a problem with using Skype - as long as you coordinate only as much as realistic and follow the limitations of the rules and use basic reasonability.

Powergaming however, is of varying opinion - some people say that simply not giving somebody else the chance to choose what happens (ie; killing them rightfully but against their will) whereas others would consider '/me kills Rathrok, stealing his clothing, children, and the deed to his house' powergaming.
I find however, that having a legitimate reason for an action RP-wise, or killing somebody without their permission is hardly powergaming.

Neither, in my opinion, are worth a ban (unless really REALLY large scale [and by large scale I don't mean a raid, I mean, like, using information gained via metagame to declare a full-scale war]). I'd hope that instead of simply punishing who we consider (or highlight through public compaints) as offenders, we'd be more apt to guide users in how to correctly act or use RP skills that are fair to everybody as to improve the server.
