If we keep ban appeals to the viewing of only one mod via PM, there won't be very many prespectives in favor of the banned player. Abother idea is to keep the ban forums to only moderators while the banned player can only see their own post. If that were the case anyone else involved couldn't gain access.

Every time someone contacted me with a ban request I've put it up for discussion in the mod discussion over skype.

That's brilliant, party, and if every mod did that, we'd be fine. I take it some mods don't, however, but if they're all up for it that can be our solution.

If every moderator has to be consulted for every ban, what is the point of making a ban appeal?

The decision of multiple individuals makes more sense and isn't as biased as a 1 man decision can be (most of the time).
