I realize that this very well could just be Yotta trying to be lazy...

Also, this isn't the locking of doors, this is the picking of doors that would be locked anyways. I personally think it is a great idea and makes a lot of sense.

I have read your original post. Come on guys... if you want to pick a door it would probably need to be locked, but if you want to focus solely on picking an unlocked door be my guest. My point was that we have discussed this before, and have come to the conclusion that barricades behind doors in protected areas work just as well, and if you don't have protection, then it doesn't matter if the door is locked because the other person can tunnel through your wall.

Pickable iron doors dont make sence. If its in a unprotected land people can just dig in.
If its in a protected zone, just lock it with redstone.

Or... Just make a piston door.
