Never said I could be a better moderator , I wouldn't like to be one either. But to be a moderator you should be unbiased at all times - Why not moderate people like Cell? , Crashlander04?. So far the best moderator is BVC , as he seems to be the one coming up with all the positive input into the server and to my knowledge is the most unbiased of all the moderators. And DJFuzz , You unbanned them because they had payed money - not because it was the "FAIR" Thing to do.

And Djfuzz , Why did he dupe in the first place? He had seen in previous ordeals what it would lead to and he still did it. Clearly he doesn't respect the server and it's rules and therefore should be banned. And infact he duped more than the group combined. If I recall the total stacks of blocks ASDF's group had duped amount to something like 5 stacks? Whilst Gingerton's was 20.

Does it matter why someone does something? Whether they say it is because they wanted to kill people with the items used, or to store them away and not use them. In the end people simply do it because they can and have the opportunity to do so. Needless to say but this was a rule previously, but those who has previously done it were unbanned before. If that is true gira, and gingerton did dupe more what the previous group did. he didnt use the blocks like the others, they are stashed away in a single location. However, when others duped they gave away, spit, and lost what they had to others making it impossible to clean up what was done fully.

Whatever happens, the staff will decide the outcome; comparing this case to others of similar value, and both the pros and cons of gingerton being unbanned. With that being said I'll take my leave and enjoy my day.

gira, look at it this way - gira is about 90% of who you kill on the server

you will have less people to conquer

and who gives a tit about chainmail? like, it's shittier than iron by far

The main argument occurring within the staff chat right now is fairness versus continuity. For one, half of us are arguing that it's only fair gingerton be unbanned because Ian and asdf were way back when - for whatever reason those people are consistently arguing that I was the main advocate behind that sequence of unbanning, and they feel as though they need to unban their friend to make things fair once more. The counter argument to this, of course, is that very fact that should someone duplicate again, they needn't worry for the supporters of the first stance are clearly arguing in their favor, for fairness.

To make things easier, less complicated, and less stressful for everyone, I'm going to go ahead and cede my own position and counter arguments here and hope that the rest of the staff comes to a nice, fair conclusion.

That said, as it stands we're looking at gingerton being unbanned but muted from global (for the sake of fairness).
