I say by the time you announce 3.0 officially you should set up the war system. Sort of a test and puts 2.0 in total anarchy for a few weeks. People band together and start fighting. Large groups set up and fight each other and smaller groups start raiding and being hired for work. Forts spring up everywhere with secret underground tunnels to these new lookouts and forts. I think it would be a fun change for 2.0 before the map change. Also, give everyone /home for that time till the new map so that people can set their spawn in forts that arent located near a town. Just an idea I think might be kinda fun for a few weeks. Let people settle their problems with fighting.

Well seeing as notch just said that 1.7 will only have pistons and mabey a couple bug fixes and were gunna have to wait a bit for 1.8 with the adventure, ravines and all that good stuff I say stick with 2.0 till then

New map means new attitude and new allies. Which means I should probably blow crap up.

Well that way its easier for everyone to get around. Psht total anorchy would be so fun, and if we do keep our gold and the gold system changes to where its easier to find gold, there really will be no point to keeping it. Say I had 100g and then the new server comes out. 100g now is worth quite a lot, but 100g is not worth as much when gold is much easier found, because theres more of it to go around, 100g will seem to be small.
