I do know that it was not being used. Yes I am aware of the screenshot but that's because most of the mods are key-bound and he sometimes accidentally hits them. Yes he could unbind the keys I think but he's a lazy canadian.
Either way, I agree, a perma is not necessary.

Yeah I have Xray installed but I don't actually use it although sometimes I accidentally turn it on so it shouldn't count as xraying HerpDerp

Edit: Also sort of off topic but: Next time anyone quotes a post and just writes "This", they will be put on at least warning level 50%. Sick of it.

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
But even if he did use the auto-sword, is the advantage of switching to a sword in your already hotbar really an unfair advantage?

Did it (or does it) really ruin any other's player experience, or have the potential to do so? Has anybody ever actually attempted to sneak up on Lewis?

It's not an issue of clarification or ignorance here, but instead an issue of reasonability. Is the use of control pack actually OP or are we looking for faults and blame in something that should really just be corrected?

geckosquid (staff) was asked about the client, and he deemed it allowable. Does that not mean anything?

This.

Having auto-sword is completely different from having xray. It doesn't give you an advantage in fighting at all. I even consider it to hinder you when fighting because if you hit a block it'll switch to your pickaxe when you are trying to fight. How about you go and try the mod out before making assumptions like tristo and cell did.

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
I doubt it hinders your fighting Ian. If it really did, why would he use it, hm?
Like I said before, you are famous for using poitions, your whole group. Its how you win the majority of your fights, you toss potions galore then you wip out your sword and attack. Potions dont stack, so throwing more than one poition requires you to press you number keys a few times to get the same effect as you, where as you can do the exact same, and have your sword ready at all times.

/tableflip my gosh, he doesn't use it.... and it really does.

It doesn't work that way cell, you have no idea what you're talking about. For example if you had a sword in hotbar 1 and potions in all the others, you'd still have to hit the number keys which is easy, there's no substitute for that. But, even with the mod, it will still leave you with an empty hand. You could either just hit 1, or run towards someone and punch them and it will switch to the sword. But, even if you think that's an advantage, it isn't because it's glitchy and sometimes doesn't switch. Now unless you know what you're talking about, don't comment.

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
From what you're all claiming NLewis doesn't use any features that come with this mod, so what was the point in him having it in the first place?
And also just saying that there hasn't been an incident where Lewis has used autosword on people doesn't mean it won't happen.

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
But, (and I don't have confirmation on this) what Cell is saying, is that the autoblock plugin would likely move the potions from different slots in your hotbar. If I've heard correctly, when you empty a stack, it replaces it with another stack of the same object. That should theoretically work with potions

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
Actually with autosword, it switches to your sword a split second before the hit is registered. Therefore that hit would be with a sword not your fist.

RE: NLewis - Ban Appeal
Yea, that too. Also, for those saying that it isn't enough for a permaban, previous warns and bans do factor in. NLewis's history isn't exactly small, so that is most certainly a contributing factor
