Sorry if i'm missing some vital details, i'm just skimming over the replies here.

Should the ban list be wiped? Hell no. They are banned for a reason, not every map reset deserves a wipe.

Should Solitude be unbanned at least? If they are willing to not be dicks, not sit there and mock the staff, not taunt players publicly and ruin the game for others, maybe. I don't even think any of them would come back except Ian and Giratina. Both of which I would be ok with. I have spoken to Giratina after his ban, and he was ready to change from PvP to RP. Although that is not required anymore, it shows that he is capable. Ian, has always been nice on the other hand. Things just went wrong in Revamped.

I think the degree of dispute over this points to the need for a completely clean slate. A persuasive argument can be made for keeping any banned player banned - otherwise they wouldn't have been banned it the first place. If we really want to revive the 'glory days' of kiwike 2.0 we should pretend the server never existed and start completely fresh. New rules, new map, new whitelist, new banlist, new donation benefits, new town system, new mods, new economic systems - as if all the kiwikes before this didn't exist. Otherwise we are just making arbitrary judgements about players based off personal opinions about them, personal grievances related to their crimes and personal distinctions about what rules are 'good' and which are 'bad.' It's difficult to forget about the past and everything that has happened on the server thus far but I think it's not a bad idea to give it a try. The current system is broken and if we are starting a new system it shouldn't just be a slightly modified version of the old - it should be 100% completely new.

Plus they were really only banned because a large population of the server didn't like them because they were better than them so they were banned.

In whole they kept RP reasons for their actions and I rarely saw them gloating in ooc or anything like that. People just didn't like them because of their actions, which they had every right to do.
