i assume you are speaking of the christian god.
if, and let me enfisize the if, god can see into the hearts of men, who (god) will surely know that most people, athiests being the ones to whom i'm referring, can not, not 'don't want to' but can not without proof believe, god has not given them the gift of faith BUT, that being said, the burden of proof relies on religion, and without proof, those who need it to believe will not.

further more, if god is merciful, he will understand that those who cannot, will not.
God will forgive those who can't believe in him, and if he dosn't forgive, then he's not much of a god to worship.
Me being nihilistic, as far as i know, i could be in a coma, it's inception every day for me, so i could care less about anything. and yes, i'm willing to take the risk of not worshiping, cause like i said ealier, if he's the god people worship, he will forgive, for he is the wisest of all, but if he dosn't forgive because someone cannot honestly believe in a god, then i'd rather be in hell.

ask yourself, do you think an athiest would not bow down to god if he showed up one day?
ofcourse he would, it's not he dosn't want to believe, he can't without proof, and yes i understand that most athiests are stupid neckbeards who can't differ wisdom from intelligence, and i apologize on behalf of those, but because you are a believer, and know in your heart, isn't it enough to live your life care free? and let everyone else choose their own paths and live care free also?
