I was born with asthma because my father smoked when I was not yet born. My father smoked because of him wanting to impress his friends in the army. He was in the army because people enlisted him. They enlisted him because they needed people to kill other people. It all goes back to sin. It isn't fair, but for life to be fair, we would all be mindless puppets without free will. And tell me something: how many Alzheimers cases are there proportionate to population? Then look at asthma. Also, there is more to it than simply healing someone because they are sick. He doesn't come unless asked. If you are wondering why someone wasn't healed ask yourself : Did anyone bother praying for them? Would they be better off if they were healed? Would they have loved God even if he didn't heal them?

And God doesn't control. We don't want him to, and He loves us too much to take what isn't given as a gift of love. So many things happened because we don't give it all, the good and the bad, to Him.
