I believe that it could of been solved much more easier, although some might not do this, or never thought of it.
Insulting his race is more than a good enough reason to kill, but if Crash realized, as Rathrok pointed out, he had no way of knowing he was a dwarf. Rather if this was real life, his short height, beard, etc, would of shown it.

Problem could of been solved easily, rather then Rath complaining about the Minecraft characteristics, and Crash defending his race. In all RP reasoning, it is a perfect reason for him to kill you. It would be the same if you walked up to Tristo in-game and told him that Humans and his kind are no different, it is an insult to his race, providing an RP reason for him to well, murder you.
Oh, and why are you posting this if it happened two days ago, and besides, this is the third or fourth thread we have on this topic.
