Tristo, his interpretation of his RP character, and what his definition of a great warrior means may be different than yours.

I wrote his lore, and we discussed it thoroughly - it has nothing, as a matter of fact, to do with revenge upon Asdf. That is apparently merely an additional coincidence. His character misses battle, and loves to fight - add that to the fact that he's a drunk in a foreign land and it makes perfect sense that he'd raid a town he stumbles upon (even if he did metagame his grudge).

Besides, if nobody is allowed to raid in the first age, why even bother leaving everything unprotected?

All in all, the metagaming was apparently a one-time offense - and EVERYBODY is guilty of it at least one (though his case was quite distinct), and he did not do any physical damage to any structure (I may be wrong, but an exact example would be available I'd hope).
