The issue is not that you have one in your territory, its that you can abuse that to gain items normal people wouldnt have right then, especially when a poor nation like yourselves gives everyone diamond armor you farm from the dungeon.
I dont mind though. Free diamond armor for us.
First, our nation is anything but poor (we have 10 stacks of diamonds between our 2 richest members). Second, diamond armor is not extremely common in strongholds. Every once in a while we might get a diamond chest plate, or maybe 2, but it's not our main source of armor or weapons (I have only once ever found a diamond sword in a stronghold). Very commonly, we come out of a stronghold with no diamond armor at all, maybe a bucket at best. We get lots of gold armor, and other random junk, but the stronghold doesn't give us a major advantage over any other nation. Strongholds are good, but not vital, and do not make a large difference in nation prosperity or military might.
