The absentee staff will still be making the calls - what they don't like to hear won't be acknowledged. Why should the staff that has contributed nothing in weeks still be given authority and voice over all that have been active? All of a sudden when their positions are in jeopardy they come online to give us all the answers and hear our pleas? Decisions may be made, and actions may be taken - but in the end we'll have the same moderators who do nothing but what they are forced to do.
That's exactly why we need a switch up - otherwise nothing will change. Honestly, the only one who should really be making decisions here is yottabyte - Droid, you've been almost as bad as most of the moderators in this case and need to let go of the patronizing approach.
The community's voice needs to be heard, not filtered or judged.

This is a new side to you Crash, and quite frankly, I agree with it.
In utter truth, this is an uncensored side. If the staff doesn't like what I'm saying they have the power to ban me, say I'm flaming, hang me by my fingernails, etc.. and go about in an ignorant fashion. This is a flashback to 2.0 where it was made bannable to criticize the staff.
Rule 1.1: Moderators are always right.
It has been proved that is not true, and we shouldn't be forced to act like it anymore.
