Let's boil down how IRC works. You first find a chat client (such as mIRC). A chat client tends to be barebones, showing just text and emoticons. Then, you would join a server via a command,and begin typing. In this case, you would be connecting to the Kiwike server, which would be connected to the in-game chat. You would type something into the IRC client, and it would show up in game, falling under the IRC username you set. You would, in turn, be able to read OOC messages from people in-game. Hope this clears a bit up, may be able to explain kore in the morning

MonsterIRC isn't the client, it's the bukkit plugin. Yotta could put up a java or HTML5 (No flash cause flash sux) client on the website
