In essence, you instead of reporting anything and instead of appealing from the beginning for an unfair ban played along with the others that were banned and made an ass out of yourself. It tells me that you're definitely not ready to play on a server with other people, nor are you deserving.
Sure it may be a reflection of my personality but think of it this way, is anyone 100% mature 100% of the time? I don't think it's fair that I am being judged for a few seconds of spamming on the fourms rather than the few months I played on the server. Have I ever caused trouble before any of this? Just something to think about.
Edit: I couldn't appeal my ban from when it happened because my account was banned for a few months. I thought it was only fair that I should wait out my my ban and then appeal. Also because the reason I got banned would've most likely been calmed down after a while and people wouldn't hate me as much.
You are also being judged for not reporting the planned grief, which, although not a rule, shows very poorly on your character. Outside of Minecraft, if a person is planning on committing vandalism, and you didn't report it, that is a punishable offense. The same should apply here. And, if you wanted to truly make your case, you should have appealed when it happened, not months later
