Also, you guys are describing the minecraft community as if it's like 150 people in total. There are nearly 10 million people who own minecraft, and at least 1 million that play regularly. As long as you have good advertising, you will always have more than enough people willing to join the server (assuming the server is well created) no matter the style. Running out of people willing to play in the style that you have created is not a problem. Also, just because you enjoy pvp does not make you the "bad parts" of the minecraft community.

While the game may not be shit, the minecraft community is. All the mature players have already found a server to play on, new servers are left with whining kids and griefers. That's where this game is at.
Finally, I believe that server failed because of other reasons...
namely the reason that we released it a week after we started it
