What is your absolute no matter what can't go over budget?
I just managed to put together a $1047 build with a GTX 670 in it. This would be significantly more powerful than either of the other builds, however it will not have an SSD(which is well worth it in my opinion).

Make sure to ignore the mail-in rebates if you didn't know before.
EDIT: Oh yea, make sure to wait to buy the graphics card until May 23. On May 23, Nvidia will be revealing their 700 series desktop graphics cards which will significantly drop the price of the 600 series graphics cards. If they drop enough, you might even be able to get gtx 660s in SLI right off the bat, which is more powerful than a GTX 680.
