Single block towers

ok so what? A 6x6 siege tower allowing us to get into the walls is ok? this pvp/nogriefing rules are starting to conflict and confuse me.

There are no conflicting rules. The rule is no single block towers. However, everyone loves to be able to attack towns. So we are proposing reasonable ways that can be done. For example, the suggestions above... a 3x3 tower with stairs or a 6x6 tower with ladders built outside the wall that can allow people to cross over the wall. Constructing this would create a point of conflict where people would be encouraged to pvp.

Hmm i get what ya mean but... Why not just expand the plots around ur Town/city so non residents cant build a tower to get over the walls in the first place?

I think thats how the towny mod is normaly meant to be used.

Indeed it is. However, no one has made their borders in such a way that a 1x1 tower can't gain them access so really it doesn't matter if towny is used how it should be or not. The point here is the absurdity of being able to run up to a wall and pole vault over it with little effort. Make people put a little effort into getting over walls, because people put considerable effort into building them.
