In the premade battlefield, how about allowing buildings and weapons to be made?

It requires a much larger economy and managing strategy, i think it would be cool for something like that to happen. In real wars, you have to battle not only against enemies, but supplies, resources, time, and health.
My attempt to make the war system look cooler just tries to make it much more realistic.
After the battlefields, though, it is definitely possible to make the final battlefield the place at which you want to capture....like a real siege.
