I believe that if we elaborate and improve on this idea then it will be a great feature on the PvP server.

A lot of people believe these chests are too over powered for a survival server.
So I came up with an idea.
Ender Chests would function like a machine to access the global bank. Each player have their own bank account to store stuff in. When you are online, only you can access your account, from any chest around the world. Just like how the chests work currently.
Now, if you are offline a thief would be able to "hack" into the bank system from their Ender Chest. Probably using a lockpick (diamond hoe?) and they can access a random bank account from any offline player on the server.
That's pretty much my idea, short and simple.
This lets you use the Ender chests like an extended backpack while you are online, when you log off most people would empty their bank account so their stuff isn't stolen.
No, just no.
Gira only likes this solution as it adds more stealing for him, this is total bullshit.
No offense, but this solution is the complete opposite of Enderchest's, allowing for universal raiding, instead of universal storage. This basically allows someone to sit in a hole, deep underground, and just keep picklocking an Enderchest to their udder delight. What is the fun in that? There is absolutely not skill, no movement, no nothing into getting other players items.
I ask that something be done about the Enderchests, yes. But in the same time, I ask that once/if they are removed, Sponsors regain an Inn chest of some sort, as it was in Revamped.
Then dont leave your items in an Enderchest when you log off then, simple.
Its still a stale idea, in my opinion. Remove them completely, don't nerf them for the worse. If you were on the server more, you would see the outbursts already from the raiding, and the the outbursts about enderchests.
Its a two sided argument. Either take them out, and give back sponsors what they donated for, or leave them in, as it is part of the game.

RE: Enderchests
I had another idea earlier today. Maybe we could resize the enderchest inventories. Normal players would have like 6 slots for their favorite tools/armor/diamond blocks and then donors could have 7, supporters 8 etc etc. I think every single slot would make a lot of difference.

I'm actually OK with this. This still gives that little benefit to the Sponsors/Donors (Even if it is little), but still allows for a majority of the server to be happy. Make a poll?

RE: Enderchests
Personally, I'd just like enderchests completely gone, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with yotta's latest idea. Although, maybe something like, non donors 3, donors 4, supporters 5? Just thinking so you can't put like, best armour, best sword, stack of diamond blocks, you have to choose.

Enderchests are still part of the game in my eyes. If they are nerfed to hold less items, i'm ok with that. As for the amount, that is up to them. I'd like to keep it low though, like you said.

I'd personally say even less slots - one could condense a massive fortune into 5 slots.

Same thing could be said about bank accounts.

I'd be fine with bank accounts being nerfed too - I only use the bank account to buy from shops and deposit to town.
Hold up, wait a minute, let me put some kush up in it..
What if you could only store emeralds in your enderchest and that acted as your bank? So the commands you used such as /town deposit and buying from shops simply drained or transfered emeralds from your enderchest.
That way other items are still technically vulnerable in some sense (being needed to be placed in other chests), while the flawless protection of emeralds in a bank carries is provided by the enderchest instead.
