It's not exactly explosive, but it fits the topic... if I made a trap which had a pressure plate push the victim into the ceiling via a piston, and have a piston open and release lava, would the lava flood be a grief? Not sure on the rules about that.
I could make it explosive too, though Smiley

With the design I posted you could have it drop into lava instead of water, you would also have to make more room so the little fireballs from the lava don't set off the TNT.

TNT destroys lava, so as far as I know it doesn't work.
