Like we have a public mini game server which we use to draw people into the other two Hardcore PVPers/ Not hardcore. I really do think that we just need to get our name out there more. I personally think that we should sponsor a few people like BadBoyHalo he gets plenty of view or other people to advertise our servers. Also things on the mini games can be anything from hungergames RFW or even a siege on a castle.

That's not a bad idea, but it's on a slightly different topic. I recommend you bring it up at a later date.

Yea i was kind of just throwing out ideas. I still think that we need a mini game server to play lots of dem mini games that lots of people like to play

RE: The Afterthought
There really isnt enough players for multiple servers/worlds.

That again is one of the many reasons option 2 is so good.

RE: The Afterthought
Well, that's the point, to attract more people to fill up the two servers. Also, people wouldn't be entirely split between the two servers. I, for one, plan to play actively on both servers if option 1 is chosen. One of the things about option 1 is that you can go on either server whenever you want. If I felt like doing some light RP or PvP one day, then I would go on revamped. If I felt like doing some hardcore RP the next day, then I would go on the new server. It gives you the freedom to do whatever you want. You do get a little of that with option 2, but it's not nearly as convent. If you want one or the other, you have to make the potentially long trek to the other side of the wall. Additionally, you would need an RP reason to do so.

Another benefit of option 1 over option 2 is that with option one, we get to keep everything we have built up over the last 6 months in Revamped. One of the things that people didn't like with the switch from 2.0 to Revamped was that they were invested in what they had accumulated in 2.0. Option 2 does that same thing, it would be a total wipe of everything great that we have all created in Revamped. Option 1 would be better in that people could keep everything that they had accomplished because Revamped would still be there. Again, people would have the option to start again from scratch, but also be able to continue what they have with Revamped. This is another reason why I like option 1 over all of the rest.

RE: The Afterthought
Grr... I hate to bust in on everyone like this, but I had an idea and was not able to make it to the meeting yesterday. I'm glad Crash brought up what he did, because it's very similar to mine, perhaps even better. When kiwike started rapidly losing members, I admit I did go play on another rp server. I couldn't last a month. Kiwike was just too fun. But while I was there, I did notice some great ideas and things they implemented into the server that kept people coming out. (30-40 people on at every time of the day.) If we could take some of these ideas, then Kiwike might have a chance at salvation. (If yotta or droid want the name of this server I can Pm it to 'em)

Ok, so we want roleplay. If we didn't then Revamped would be the same as 2.0. Which it isn't. I've noticed that many of the hardcore roleplay servers out there have a set world, with towns already built. Now, this is great right? You can make a character and go out and not have to worry about building! Now, after 15 minutes of this, you're going to realize that minecraft is still minecraft, and leave the server. There are very few people who like set worlds. Instead, what this (example) server has done, is they have several different worlds through mulitverse or some other plugin, with a central world named Westeros (Not really the name). On westeros, there are no greifing, stealing, or murdering rules. Nor is there any build permissions, and players do not have the ability to destroy blocks. Hostile mobs may or may not spawn here. People may say, well, this is just what you wanted to avoid earlier! And this is where Crash's idea melds in. There are multiple worlds, say the Eastern Frontier and Western Wilds. Players can access those worlds from the End, since we don't currently use it for anything. Kinda like an End hub. Anyways, in those worlds, the rules from Westeros are null. Pvp and stealing are allowed along with greifing and other bad things to do. These two worlds are primarily a place to gather resources, a place to earn money by either finding gold or selling the resources they gathered. Once a player has enough money, they can form a house in Westeros. They get lands and titles. So soon Westeros will be populated by nice buildings that players can control themselves, and if a hardcore "no-building" roleplayer joins, they can simply wander around Westeros, roleplaying till they drop.

Another thing that the (example) server does, is weekly roleplay events. These could range anywhere from wars, player made rp events (player submits a script and admins review it) and admin made rp events. This could be anything from "You walk up to see a mutilated body swinging from a tree branch", to "There's an infestation of poisonous rats(silverfish) in <this city>, come help us kill them!". With admins and players working together to come up with these fun adventures, the server base would be much more populated.

The final thing I would like to bring up, is lore. There needs to be much more of it, and it needs to be more restrictive. Not so restrictive like certain fallout servers, but we need to have a list of species you can choose from. If a player REALLY wants to be a certain species not on the list, have them fill out a Species Application. The list should slowly grow over time. And MOAR! We need creative people coughcoughgeckocrashcercecoughcough to write us some lore! Maybe not lore that explains things, just fun stuff to sit and read.

Now, if this plan were implemented, it would require to end the world as we know it. I know, all of our hard work gone. But think about all the crap heap buildings scattered through the "supposedly" beautiful land the restart would take with it? It would be worth it to do a restart. I propose Kiwike: Anew. :P (That was a joke you haters.)

That pretty much sums up my contribution, if you have any questions please let me know. I lost my train of thought a few times while writing, and so I may have left out some important details.

tl;dr? Go read it.

I like this idea way more then the other ones.
But how would one implement it in the kiwike lore?

I really like where you're going with this, but my only thing is: How big is 'Westeros'? Perhaps having only what sounds like a single city for the hardcore RP might not be enough, and I would recommend several suburban villages, smaller than Westeros, but big enough that people may wanna hang around at the different villages for a bit. If you'd put too many people in a single city, it could get pretty crowded. I would even go as far as to say that 3-5 cities should be added, to heighten RP experience

I think if we modify this even more, to appeal to those who like a cool rp war, we could have they entire town vote on war and if two towns agree a "war app" must be made including all the and reasoning behind the conflict, if the admins think its bs reasoning then the war will be "called off"

RE: The Afterthought
It is, but its so typical. Kiwike is unique! Thats why I like option two so much because its probably never been done. I know we could do it right, and it could turn out to be the most unique RP experience anyone has ever had. (being it is able to offer what ever pvp style you wish to use, as well as the element of survival minecraft AND hardcore RP with prebuilt, good looking, lots of lore towns and builds)

If we do one or three, bam, we become just like any other server. Whats the fun of that? Everyone wants to just do the same old thing? Come on guys, we have the opportunity to create something that could potentially open the eyes to so many more minecraft players (being they can get on and feel at home on one side and then venture to the other for reasons such as mining or searching for a lost temple that is required to find for a quest that you obtain on the civilized side) and create something no one has ever seen before.
