There ARE towns. That's what WE call them. They don't necessarily have protection, but they are a group of people living in a community with a set of buildings. That is called a town, whether it has protection or not.
There ARE nations. That's what WE call them. They don't necessarily have an official alliance, but they are a group of towns near eachother who serve as eachothers' friends and allies. That is called a nation, whether it's official or not.

Of course, when two nations' "leaders" disagree, they will wage "war." The war was and is inevitable, and it has happened. The only problem is that one side of the war has suddenly decided that they don't want to be part of it anymore, so they're BOMBING us with accusations of not RPing the fights. Which of course we are.

Excerpt from rule 7.3:
Quote:Kills on Sight (KOS) are only allowed if you've been asked to assassinate a player by someone else. You do not walk up to someone you have never met before and slay them. You are also allowed to KOS players from an enemy nation.
There you have it. When I am sent to Bowser's nation by my leader Geod Valestan, I am both in a time of war, and sent to assassinate every enemy who inhabits the area of the nation. That's what war is. Don't like it? Move. We don't like you.

i dont get it at all why even call them nations and towns if there arnt towns for real and i mean a town dont become a town just cuz u have protection it is a town if u call it a town and town shouldnt even exist in this age and nations is what u say it is towns who are close to each other and help each other out but that shouldnt even exist yet so why think about nations and towns when they dont exist in this age. Huh?? i have a base some where i live thats all u need in this age what is it u guys dont get ?
