But seriously, if this were to happen I can say that it won't happen within the coming weeks. We (I) have to sit down and code the new town system for one thing. Then we probably have to prepare a new map and get everything else ready.

Also, transferring the gold would totally crash the economy in 2.0. I'm not saying I'm against it but imagine this. I made a little comic to show what would happen.

A fresh start without gold would be nice.
Seeing it would indeed ruin the economy of the new map.

Exactly. Everyone would want to sell and the whole market would crash. If we decide to do 3.0 and announce it, 2.0 would be pretty much dead until 3.0 is done.

So if 3.0 is happening then you would announce it maybe a week before it happens or so I'm assuming? Rather then say right now that 3.0 is coming so that means all the work you are about to do is going to be brought to nothing.
