Pretty sure this is the first post in this thread re-worded. But since we are repeating previous statements I still believe unbanning people who are permanently banned defeats the purpose of the word "permanent" and it will also give us a bad reputation as a server.

Not that there is much of a reputation to be had when only 2 people are on the server, as for new members i'm sure the staff can do just as good of a job at hiding that as they are at other things hmm?

But all grudges aside I see where you are coming from, and the idea of a new server with new rules and a clean banlist does seem like a better idea, as its less needy and last minute save sort of deal. It makes it seem more "lets start anew" as oppose to lets salvage what we can.

Bringing back those who were banned would more than likely cause arguments therefore flame. I also think the things you listed aren't on the same level as unbanning everyone previously banned bar poor moderating.

It's only going to cause arguments if you refuse to cope with it assuming it does happen. Unbanning everyone isn't poor moderating either, that's not what moderation means.

Again stop saying "it's going to cause this pretty much", or "most likely this will happen". Especially for things that are entirely dependent on how YOU react to the situation. I can't tell if you are saying that "If you unban everyone we are all going to argue about it" which is stubborn, or if you are saying "All the people banned are going to argue with us" which is a assumption with no real reason.

That's a bit hypocritical. Also I do think that bringing back people who have been banned may cause arguments within members of the community and the banned people themselves. As for the part of your post concerning moderation I will assume you were addressing seth as I said nothing relating to poor moderation apart from the fact that it does give a bad reputation if it occurs.

So since I have a shiny new title, my view on the moderation of these bans is that they were banned for Revamped. If the 2.0 esqe server retains the name of Revamped, then they should remain banned. However, the rp server should get its own ban list.

EDIT: Also Doctor, if you have nothing to say concerning the topics at hand I ask of you to please not post. Especially when you post something that can only produce flame. I think that goes for Milkshake as well. As long as you make relevant posts, I don't have any issues with you having an unbanned forum account. Since you seem to be a respectable fellow with good grammar, I don't think you'll have any problems with flaming, but please tread carefully.
