I am a the proud owner of Safe Area Sigma and part of the SAS council in the map we are in now. It would be a tragedy to see all of our hard work go to waste but i think having a new map would be even better, think about it:
-no close cities
-more rpg aspect (maybe)
-its always fun to rethink and rebuild, add more creativity
What i found since i am a old timer (maybe not as old of a player as most but i was there when Kiwitown was at its peak so i consider that to be old...=.= srry yotta) is that more and more people wanted to create thier own town leaving towns deserted and kinda ghetto, for example: i remember when i began to found Safe Area Sigma, i of course left because i just didnt feel that special jingle jangle jingle that Kiwitown once had. After the walls were up and the first citizens started to settle i decided i was going to go into "town" and see how the place was holding up knowing that a little bit of my "corazá½¹n" (translate: heart) was in Kiwitown. The great city had been turned into a mob infested nightmere, im talking about aggresive mobs of course and not the adorable cows. Every turn i would see a skeleton, spider, zombie, or creeper. I kinda saw the reason why ppl left (either because no one was there to occupy it or because there was too many mobs).
I have to say Deaglex, ur a good man and i feel with you man because like u, i am also a town owner. But i think sometimes its better to start over and who knows, u might make and even greater civilization. I had a great dream for this map but i see even greater potential for a new one. Deaglex and all of you skepticals, i ask u to look in ur hearts and see the greatness u could accomplish in a new map.
I know i have a dream to start a great nation called the SAS (Safe Areas States) which will be small havens which people can live in and be united under the SAS. The SAS would provide transport, one man safe houses in the wilderness just in case u cant make the trip back to town, a community chest for the whole town to donate and take from, and a grand mall with kiosks where people who are the merchant type can sell thier goods become the next millionares of kiwi.
At this moment i am pro- new map and i encourage everybody to vote for a new map so that we can all have equal fun ^_^

), cuz everyone is going to make a new town right now, and the old towns are empty. And because i think it's better to have no city's near the spawn, just a safe house where u can stay one night. And because i think it's better to have more space between the city's.
