This is of course an unfair situation , A ban for self defence? That's really unfair. When in honest opinion the restriction shouldn't of been placed upon us - instead a more direct approach should of been taken.

True. But if your sitting there, Doing things like farming,building etc. and some guy with Diamond armour who raids your town multiple times in a single day wonders into your town and begins to approach you. you wouldn't just sit there like 'Ohhia there hows it going'

I was sitting at the portal and bowser logs in and goes to me , followed by an attack to which I turned around and acted back.

I didn't approach him , he sought to attack me first. Derp. Plus I would like to reintroduce this post , because no mod has replied to it

Well , Like I said maybe that is possible - And thank you clarifying that. But really , If you wanted me to do that you could of simply asked. Not once did I get a direct confrontation from any of the staff telling me that directly. If you approached it differently instead of constantly arguing at me and restricting me you could of easily made me stop my aggressive nature (Although it's all in RP wise consent). Now could I have some clarification on why it is infact an entire week?

To clarify, you were in an enemy's town with the intent of raiding, as we know for a fact but Bowser assumed at the time.

I recall the several 'Non-RP Kill' complaint threads in which yotta explicitly stated that these untimely raids had RP reasoning behind them, and the fact that you guys refused to talk to them was fine, seeing as how both parties were known enemies. I'm taking this as Bowser listening to the staff in that he shouldn't sit and wait for RP, but should instead stay on gaurd.

Now, there's also the fact that one could use this to bypass the restriction. Go to an enemy's town, let the other attack you, and use that as a reason to directly raid whilst blaming the staff and restriction itself. I'm not saying you were doing that, but that it's a possibility and your reason is considered invalid for that fact.

Crash, I believe your argument that bowser did it to get Giratina banned or be punished in anyway is quite frankly ridiculous. It's the man's town and as previously stated, the staff told them off for calling out so many un-rp kills.

That said, your ban was decided to last a week when Saera prompted the staff chat with a choice, and the majority replies saying it should be a week.

In conclusion, I was all for reducing the ban if you had really misread something Party said, but as it seems, he never hinted to that fact that it was ok, as yotta previously stated, and you seem to be relying heavily on this other, truly pathetic reason that doesn't make much sense to me.

If you could ask Lucun , He could tell you we clearly did not go to there to get attacked. That said I believe android that is really a poor argument. You're suggesting I went to his town to get hit? of course not! I went to his town to scout , like I usually do before a full - scale raid so you cannot simply imply that the reason is invalid. And about the week ban? What. Why would you even ask the Staff? The majority of the staff despise me! I've had people telling me that a mod said this and that about me in Skype , so to get those same people to vote on how long my ban should be is ridiculous.

In fact if you were to do things through that system you would simply have to make mods not play the game , in order to prevent biased decisions. Do you not agree?

But you haven't answered my question , Why am I banned a whole week because of said "Raiding" with permission. It's not like disregarding this restriction is a strict rule. I mean you would not ban me for a moderate version of Meta for a whole week! This being a main rule on this server.

True, but considering the prior and detailed discussion of raids, does that mean he was raiding?

Still, you only need to compare how small of a problem this situation even consisted of - he hardly even raided (which is what the ban was for). He entered the town, was hit, and killed the person who hit him - which hypothetically would be reason to continue raiding - he did not proceed to go through chests (as far as I am aware) or kill anybody else.

Henceforth, even if his intentions may have been to raid, he did not technically raid (with or without permission) - which is what he was banned for.

I just hope the server rules don't continue to dissolve into 'Can't kill bowser, smythie, or funnycop without being reported for something either miscallaneous or menial'.

That is also another completely valid point. God this ban appeal has the most comments on it , majority of course being pointless discussion about the SC. But hey , we need to discuss this at some point.

As I mentioned, Saera took the question of length to the staff chat. I was not there, but have been motivated to get our moderators to issue warnings on first strikes, and temporary bans for second strikes. I don't personally know the reason for such a length as that of a week.

And I am still under the full impression that it was not Bowser who attacked you to get you in trouble, but you that let him attack you to justify your being there. That is only my belief.
