What do you mean, "the way Mac OS is written"? Just like every other operating system, it's not about the computer. It is about the ignorance of the person sitting in front of it. If you have no idea what you are doing and installing applications to left and right without knowing who made them, then yes, you will end up with a virus. It's easier to get a virus on a windows PC though, since most malwares are written for windows.
Now that I have a real keyboard in front of me, I can add my thoughts on the subject.
All operating systems are good for different things. There is no right or wrong OS. Everyone use their computer for different things.
If you enjoy doing like, everything on the computer, get Windows.
If you want a shiny computer that even your mom can use, get a Mac.
If you're awesome, cheap or hipster, get Linux.
I could sit here all day and write good and bad things about all of them but this is just endless circlejerking.
