Not true, nfmous. Where the hell do you live? Cheapland? My rig cost $1500, and it still can't run Skyrim maxed out in cities at 60fps.

Then you should be fine bruh Laugh Just remember to keep your comp defragged(for the loading speed of the game files) and boosted(Gamebooster 3.0)

It is true, you have to understand that skyrim is not demanding its just awfully coded and a mod will fix the loading just as they did when new vegas was first launched.

Its on the same engine new vegas was on so I dont see how it could be that more demanding haha

Maybe $400 is a bit off, more like $550.

What Skyrim uses the creation engine, created specifically for Skyrim and F:NV uses a modified verison of the gamebryo engine.

RE: My current dilemna with skyrim
For those of you who are having trouble with performance, this might be worth testing: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=123

I'm having slight but not noticeable lag on Ultra, so I'm going to test it out now and see if there's any difference at all.

Edit: Huh, would you look at that. It increased my FPS by 6. Enough to remove the slight FPS lag I was experiencing.

I wish I was an insane space wizard.
