Unusual events in the tavern

From the shadows in the corner of the bar, Android appears.

Something is wrong with his usually shiny green coating, it's become rusty with age.

"Fools. I understand that lowly humans wouldn't be able to wrap their heads around this but none the less, I find myself overwhelmed by anger. A new age is coming. And not all are welcome. Give up your quarrels with these assassins. They're nothing but a joke. Other, more important matters must be attended to... Something wicked this way comes."

And with those final words, he turns for the door, headed towards the South gate of Mavenholm, despite the challenges and arguments behind him.

Android's final sentence echoes through the reptilian brain of G. Squid, P.I. He first chuckles at the Shakespearean reference, then sits down and delves into its meaning. Something much more formidable than his own dying order and this new group of savages is on its way. A breeze sweeps in through the still swinging door to the tavern, and on it, he smells change. An old Dwarven tavern song plays through his head, and he begins to sing it under his breath...

There's
Change in the air
From no-one knows where
It seemed to sweep in without a care
Where'er it goes
Only He knows
That it's no reason to despair.
Though wars will be fought
And evil be wrought
We shouldn't give a second thought
To what it will do
To me and to you
There is no point in venturing there.
For we all trust

Protect us in times of uncertainty
That time comes nigh
O'er mountains high
And dipping through valleys
Dodging between trees.

For we know that our lives are plain
So this change surely is a gain
We're cravin' some variety
So we'll spread our arms and welcome it, you see!

The economy's bad, but the crime rate is worse
And change is the only cure to this curse
To boot, we're running out of cheer
So I'd say change is welcome here.


Now, whenever change comes along, they say,
You feel it keep the same at bay
You hear the fight between change and old ways
And behold the battle rage night and day.

But, when that change
Comes avast
We know the past will never last
The change has come,
Old times are doooooone...
Now come a new age for everyone!

He shakes his head as the faintest wisp of a smile crosses his face. Promptly, he rises, drops a coin on the counter, tips his hat at the bartender, and leaves with all haste.

Cell walks up to the walls of Nosaka, and finds a fire outside the walls. Believing he is under attack, he grabs whatever he can scavenge from the nearby chest to help him in battle, and takes a risky jump from the top of the wall, to the other side of the Moat.

"Oomph, that was a bigger drop than I expected."

He slowly walks over to the fire, to not find what he expected, but what looks like a symbol.

"This is odd, I heard from my talks with Geckosquid that I should keep an eye out for anyone around Nosaka, but I've only been asleep since noon, and I find this outside my walls!"

He looks around, and sees what looks like someone moving in the distance, but before he could do anything, the object walks behind a mountain, to never be seen again.

"Seeing as this was not for me, I shall leave it and speak to Geckosquid. Until next time Savages"

He slowly backs away from the fire, always keeping his eyes on the spot from which the man vanished, and goes back in the walls.

"Until next time...."

G. Squid, P.I. eyes the mark with one brow raised.

"Well," he remarks, "it is clearly the letter "G", which is not all that surprising considering the fact that that is my first initial. The curious part, though, lies beneath the flames... It appears that there is another symbol hidden underneath it. I'm not quite sure what it means, but this must be the work of someone who resides nearby, otherwise this would be too long of a journey for too simple of a task. We should watch our fellow residents, Cell. It could be any of them. It could even be me, for all you know."

Suddenly the door slams open as a dark cloaked figure walks in. He doesn't stop when he notice people of the bar looking to him. He walked to the bar and pointed to a bottle of beer in the bartenders hand. The bartender quickly gave it and the man threw some coins on the bar. With one zip he drunk the beer. No one knows why he was here, he just said there, listening to peoples conversations, trying to hear some words from the diffrent nations.

(ooc: sorry to fall in like this, I don't know if I may (I'm not even whitelisted yet... But I felt like RP-ing and I guess this also proves I can )

And then in an instant - Crashlander barged through the door and screamed, "HOW'S THE WEATHER?".

The dark cloaked man was irritated by the sudden loud noise of a simpleton who just barged in. He tried to ignore these people. He had nothing to do with them, he was just here to hear rumors about wars and about the nations.
