Android, I can see why you are not changing your mind on the subject. But you cannot take away peoples freedom of thought.
Planning is something that we all do, even subconciously. And I'm not trying to be rude, but trying to subdue your people is retarded, it's stupid and it's down right wrong.
You are never going to make it as a succesful server with this harsh rules.

I'm not saying you ditch the rule entirely, just loosen the ropes a bit.

Plain as can be, we're with what Crazy said earlier. So long as the recruiting is done in character and mostly in game, we're good.

EDIT - Also, I only said we'd deny Cell's town app because it seems as though he's become exceedingly rebellious. I said one thing, he said he'd continue to plan and recruit, no matter what we care for. That's all.

Wait, wait, wait. Just because he finds your idea to not be in the best interests of the server, he should stop "acting up"?

Also, i'm not being rebellious, although it may seem. My thoughts are as I stated them, or rather like what Hoifar said. Trying to control the human temptation to plan ahead is quite a feat to try.

Oh, and you said it had to be done ALL in game. IC i'm okay with, like I said in my recent post. As long as their is an RP reason for how your characters met, all is fine on my side. Just not forced in-game relationships as you are stating.

Maybe (since almost all of Kiwike 2.0's population has gone dormant till revamped) Android and/or Yotta can make up a story going into the new land, atleast in some way that the current, active, populus can plan and recruit in a roleplayish way. After all, we all know its coming, might as well start some sort of plans... You know some story along the lines of "The nights begening to elongate, even after the winters end, day became only a wish, everyone knew it was time to leave". This way it seems even more realistic in a sense that we can start planing for the move, but since we till dont know all the plans of revamped, all the new pluggins and everything, our plans will all be cut short, and ruined when the time to move comes (this way its still reasonable that everyone starts in this new land with nothing, like a sudden force moved everyone). Anyway... Yeah..

Asdf, I find it interesting how you asked Hoiafar if he had even read the thread when it seems you haven't done so yourself. A good portion of the thread was comprised of Android clearly stating that nothing from 2.0 will carry over into Revamped.

I asked Hoiafar to stop acting up because he's a staff member, and publicly putting down what a superior says is not what we need them for. On the other hand, I'm in a good mood, so I'm thinkin' that an interaction won't absolutely have to take place in game (Though we ask it does), but will need the RP backbone to it nonetheless. Also, in terms of stopping your planning ahead, we were doing quite well until we released Revamped publicly.

Food for thought.
