In RP just about anything is justifiable - which is where many problems with situations like yours come in.

In an RP sense you can justify just about anything, I could justify all manner of griefing by calling it an act of war however this is not acceptable on a regular basis especially with no RP backing.

If you build a house made of diamonds, it will be taken down. If you put literally hundreds of chickens a good distance away from your base that's very visible, they will be killed. It's the same dynamic.
And we actually do have RP backing, as well. I can post it if you'd like, but there isn't an RP section for the beta.

First of all, this is a request for a rule change, not about what happened on the sever.

Seeing as this topic has already been brought up, I will continue with the argument.

List

- Yottabyte "Rp is not required in the Beta"
- We did in-fact RP, as it was not the best RP in the world, and it is not my position to state our intentions, that's gecko's specialty, and if he feels up to it, he can post.
- Killed chickens for meat, and eggs for our farm. That is what chickens are for right?
- Last time someone killed your chickens, Yottabyte congratulated whoever it was as they cause lag.

This list goes on. And this is not the place for me to put it. If you feel like we did something wrong in the killing of the Chicken, make a ban request.

On-topic. I don't agree with this rule. Animals are there to be killed, first come, first served.

Just because Yotta made a troll post about chicken killing doesn't mean it's automatically ok for everyone to jump on the bandwagon. If you acknowledge that the point has been brought up and you see that it has already been requested that you not write about it here then why have you made this post. So, again, please attempt to stay on the topic at hand, which is clarification as to what is griefing and what is not.

If you read the post, you see why I continued on. Now, stop making accusations and actually open your eyes and read. Yottabyte didn't make a post, he said it whilst Bowser was complaining in-game.

This is a topic about the clarification of what exactly is and isn't griefing if I sought to have an argument with you about whether or not what you did previously was against the rules I would have made a ban request.

Cell, STOP this has nothing to do with that I hate having to repeat myself. (See my post above.)

RE: Suggestion For an Ammendmant the Rules
You brought it up, now didn't you? I still believe this should not be against the rules, killing animals that is. They are there to be killed, and if you just leave them out, expect them to die.

Both chickens and cows have benefits while living so at the very least I believe that special provisions for these animal should be put in place.

How do cows have benefits? Chickens lay eggs to make more chickens. Or you can breed them. But they are meant to die.

Cows make milk, and both milk and eggs can be used to create other products or be sold for a profit.
