Crashlander this is a load of B.S, If this was a real RP server it would have been counted as Powergaming, and DM.
You never mentioned in your application or in a /me that you are paranoid, proud and annoyed for people calling you a human.

If this is a valid reason to kill anyone it would make me able to have a conversation with anyone and then kill him just because the other player said "Hi" Since in my language "Hi" means go f%$k your self.

You can't make up stories afterwards.

A proper way to handle this situation would be to carry the conversation further, if he keeps harrasing you sure you might be able to attack him. But do it RPly and don't powergame.

I wonder if people here actually have had a proper RP fight? With /me's and such? Anyone?

I've been in the process of writing the life story of my character for week now XD
I defined his character a long while beforehand, and no I would not expect him to know the consequences of what his words might have meant to my character.
He was rude and ignorant even so, and his actions resulted in my aggression.

You clearly don't understand what I mean, you can't just come up with stories afterwards that your character is proud and paranoid. That's something that you mention in a /me so people actually know what you are saying is true.

Could have just said something along the lines of "Excuse me!? I'm a dwarf..""Oh right I apologise sir" etc etc... Over something as hard to define as characteristics you should at least give the person insulting you some kind of chance to make up for their RP mistake. Otherwise I can see that being a common problem with any RP situation you come across (killing someone doesn't exactly prove you are a certain race), and surely you can only kill so many people for offending you before you are forced to make some change to the characteristics of your character?

I realize my character was rash, but this personality is not something I simply made up as an excuse.

There were many other apparent options that could have taken place, but only do as to make a desirable end to the conversation.

As per the killing part - it was more of a punch in the face to show power than to actually kill him, he simply would have fought back and attempted to kill me if I didn't finish the job.
