I think it'd be too much of a problem with the various sizes of the ships, and the fact that a ship might be in the area of the warp, blocking the way for any others.

I like the multiple speeds suggestion.

Kiwiships are meant to be slow. Otherwise whats the point, its not suppost to be something everyone can do, its suppost to be specialized, not universal. Otherwise, whats the point to having them?

This. Anyway, I think this would be a *little* overpowered, seeing as kiwiships are built out of solid 1x1x1 meter bricks of materials that someone plonked on the ground.

this sounds like a good idea but as droid said people could block the spawn.
i suggest we sell "parking spaces" if you will that your ship can tp to every 24 hours. at war perhaps blockades could be put up for a set time period requiring multiple ships

Is that a better war plugin I smell?

I think it is, folks.

RE: KiwiShip Warping
What if you could simply plug in coordinates for the ship to travel to and it auto-sails there, whereas the controls are used for maneuvering?

That would take away the fun part.
Also, we could have warp engines, detached from our ship and then connected. like these things.

Then, once were done, we un dock from the warp engines, and fly our ship elsewhere. The warp engines would only allow coordinates with a 0 in them, for example 10 or something like that, we could even make it 100. The server would lag less, and would allow for faster travel. This could possibly introduced in age 2, and used for age 3 in war.
