RE: A Message from the Wiki Staff
I feel like the main reason that people don't interact with the wiki is that wikis are meant to be community based, and a plethora of shared knowledge - but most members hardly feel the accessibility that is needed to edit or contribute to pages.
I for one would enjoy the archiving and sharing about past events, players, and other information the community wishes to know about, but many events are often controversial and the exact happenings are hard to be recorded accurately without upsetting or offending other parties with different opinions.
This brings forward once again, the point of bias (God forbid the use of the word and forgive my usage) being restricted from entering articles on wikis as to portray accurate events and limit opinions.
This is a writing style that not many are used to conforming to, often making many readers or would-be contributors hold back their articles or editions.
My only personal conflict with the wiki is the lack of accessibility through permissions. There is still confusion as to what articles players are allowed to modify or write about, as well as the fact that you need to make yet another account in order to be part of the wiki fully.
I really like the work the wiki mods have done as of their promotions, but I would recommend either more education in how to use the wiki. Not everybody is as talented or handsome as Leech in that regard. <3
