I was thinking, you know how people like to quote a post and say "this" to it? Why not add some kind of like feature on posts. Like facebook, if someone thought it was a good post, they could like it!

It might get rid of the pesky "this" reply..

It would be really, really cool if we could make the posts a little more compact. Kinda like Facebook comments, only a little bulkier than that.

Yeah! Like a whole new forums, layed out just like facebook except with our own unique twists. Like, as effective as this is, but as easy to use as facebook. Like a really big facebook page. I mean the alternative would be to just use the fb page for this more, but I would rather have a separate thing, not attached to my real facebook profile.
