A god trapped within a body of scales sits next to a tree, the sky orange with sunset. He looks out over the snowy hills of Icenfjord and sighs. A declaration of war one day, a peace treaty the next... The inconsistencies of this world never fail to amaze him. Blood is on the horizon, he thinks. The sword is always thought of as mightier than the word. He awaits the day eagerly where the latter overtakes the former.

Turning a dagger over in his hands, he ponders the days ahead. Whatever happens, he thinks, the blood of many will stain this blade.
