I think that the fact is $30 is more than I paid to buy all of minecraft, while kiwiships are cool I don't think they have a utility value that is even close to that of the rest of the game so it is a hard purchase to justify. I do like the idea of letting all donors use the ships though, $10 is not that much of a donation and is a significant contribution to kiwike.

Exactly, I really feel like Donors dont get anything. Back in 1.0 Yotta was quite generous about what we can do if we donate. Most people who play the server enough would love to be a sponsor but they just cant get the money or what ever it is. If your main reason for doing this was to keep random ships out there with no captian, theres already a reassurance in the wool. No new player is going to have the amount of wool it takes to just make a ship, and then with a 50g license required, itd be fool proof. Ultimatly 10$ donation contributes a lot to the server and isnt that hard to get for most players. 30$ on the other hand is a lot. Like Pavja said, I dont want to pay more than what I payed just for minecraft to play online. All donors are all pretty frequent players, they arnt going to leave a random ship out there with no reason.

The fact of the matter is not justifying your purchase through price negotiation. A donation is a donation. Donations shouldn't cost the server anything, they're meant to keep the server afloat.

We're being more generous than we ever were in 1.0.

FYI Most of us were thinking not to put kiwiships in due to alot of down points. Feel lucky we are putting it in. Also,
I feel its more of a fun replacement for magic carpet.
